Tebay Angling Association held their winter competition at Bessy Beck
on Saturday 18th February when in difficult conditions 11 anglers caught
17 fish, the largest was 9lb 0oz by Arthur Lawton. The winner was Martin
Smith with 4 fish.

are fed by the crystal clear water from Bessy Beck, a small stream that rises on the nearby Howgill fells. Bessy Beck runs through our rearing tanks and keeps the lakes topped up with clean water. This helps to guarantee the high standard of our fish and their excellent eating qualities. |
